Upon Kukës Prosecution Office’s request, the Inspector of (IMTV) and the Administrator of Golaj Administrative Unit have been arrested for allowing their family members to build illegal construction
Following the direction of Kukës Prosecution Office, employees of the Local Territorial Defense Inspectorate (IMTV), citizen B.U., as well as the Administrator of Golaj Administrative Unit in Kukës, citizen U.D., were arrested in flagrante delicto on charges of the criminal offense "Abuse of office” as stipulated in Article 248 of the Criminal Code.
Continuing the investigations into criminal proceedings No. 116 of the year 2024, advanced investigative techniques were employed. As a result, the decision to arrest was made, stemming from the discovery that the IMTV employee, B.U., had failed to address the unauthorized constructions identified during this period.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the administrative unit, in an abuse of office, did not report the unauthorized construction by his mother but allowed it to continue.
Kukës Prosecution Office continues its investigations into this matter.
Three other individuals, citizen K.L., an inspector at IMTV, charged with the criminal offense "Abuse of Office," as well as citizens Z.D. and M.M., accused of the criminal offense "Illegal Construction," were prosecuted in freedom regarding this case.
