Durrës Prosecution Office concludes the investigations and takes the former prosecutor P.F to the court, on charges of false asset declaration
In the course of the criminal procedure No. 2733/2019, involving the accused P.F., it has been found that the investigations related to the charges “Refusal for declaration, non-declaration, concealment or false declaration of assets, private interests of elected persons and public employees, or of any other person that is legally binding for the declaration," as provided for in Article 257/a, para. 2, of the criminal Code have been completed. On December 5, 2023, the case has been sent to Durres District Court of General Jurisdiction.
The citizen P.F., who held the position of prosecutor, has undergone the re-evaluation process in accordance with the law.
The Independent Qualification Commission sent a report to Tirana Prosecution Office at the Serious Crimes Court of First Instance presenting the conclusive findings of the administrative investigation against the former prosecutor P.F., requesting an investigation into the facts within the framework of the re-evaluation process. This fact led to the registration of the criminal case against him and subsequently he is taken as an accused.
