After verifying the fulfilment of the legal conditions of the candidates who have expressed interest in being elected as members of the High Council of Prosecution, according to the provisions of Article 105 of Law 115/2016 "On the governing bodies of the justice system", verification that was carried out after the disposal of the information received from the Directorate of the State Information Service and the Authority for Information on Former State Security Documents, the General Prosecutor's Office officially announces the candidacies for the election of 2 (two) prosecutors from the ranks of the prosecutors of the Prosecutor’s office attached at the Court of First Instance and 1 (one) prosecutor from the ranks of the prosecutors of the Prosecutor’s office attached at the Court of Appeal of General Jurisdiction, as follows: 

- Afërdita Ndoi  -      Prosecutor’s office of Appeal of General Jurisdiction of Tiranë
- Moisi Duda     -      Prosecutor’s office of Appeal of General Jurisdiction of Tiranë 
- Edina Kurti     -       Prosecutor’s office at the Court of First Instance of Durrës
- Edlira Bako     -      Prosecutor’s office at the Court of First Instance of Elbasan
- Elsa Miha        -      Prosecutor’s office at the Court of First Instance of Tiranë
- Olger Eminaj   -      Prosecutor’s office at the Court of First Instance of Korçë 
- Vatë Staka       -     Prosecutor’s office at the Court of First Instance of Shkodër

In the following, based on Article 111 of law no. 115/2016 “On governing bodies of the justice system” the Prosecutor General, not later than two months before the date of expiration of the mandates of the prosecutor members of the High Council of Prosecution in office, shall call the General Assembly of the prosecutors of all levels to elect the new members of the Council.
