Tirana Prosecution Office, in cooperation with the police, has successfully completed the comprehensive legal documentation of an incident that occurred on January 4, 2022, around 16:10, on "Don Bosko" street in Tirana. Unidentified individuals, moving in a black "Mercedes Benz" vehicle, opened fire with firearms towards a bar. These gunshots resulted in the loss of life for citizen E. Ç, while citizens B. Ç., E.C., A.D., and A. S. sustained injuries.

Tirana Prosecution Office has recorded the criminal case No. 60/2022, addressing charges of 
" Murder committed under other qualifying circumstances" (against two or more persons) and
"Manufacture and illegal possession of firearms and ammunition", as stipulated in Articles 79 letter "dh" and 278, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.

Based on the comprehensive investigative actions, assessment of facts and secured evidence, statements, written proofs, and data through the execution of letter rogatory from Belgian authorities, a reasonable suspicion emerged, grounded in evidence, that citizen K. N., in complicity with citizen K. Z., has been engaged in meetings and discussions, secured and transferred monetary sums with the intent of assassinating citizen G. H. and his two nephews, due to a longstanding animosity that citizen K. N. has had for several years with the brothers E. H., also known as M. R., and G. H.

To plan the assassination of these individuals, citizen K.N. got in touch with and tasked citizen K.Z. who then has contacted citizen I.F. as well as the brothers I.B. and G.B., they were promised and provided with a monetary sum as an upfront payment.

Additionally, according to the brothers' testimonies, on January 4, 2022, citizen K.Z., in cooperation with two other as-yet-unidentified individuals, following the instructions of citizen K.N., fired firearms towards a bar in Don Bosko with the intention of assassinating citizen G.H. However, due to a misidentification of the target, the gunfire led to the tragic death of citizen E. Ç. and injuries to four others.

Following a thorough assessment of the evidence and facts, the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Tirana has reached a decision:

-  The imposition of the security measure of "Remand in custody" in absentia against citizen K.N., suspected of committing the criminal offense of "" Murder committed under other qualifying circumstances" (against two or more persons)), as stipulated in Article 79, letter "dh" of the Criminal Code.

-The imposition of the security measure of "Remand in custody" in absentia against citizen K.Z. suspected of committing the criminal offense of "" Murder committed under other qualifying circumstances" (against two or more persons), and Manufacture and illegal possession of firearms and ammunition", as stipulated in Articles 79 letter "dh" and 278, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.

- The imposition of the security measure of "Remand in custody" in absentia against citizen G.B., suspected of committing the criminal offense of " Providing for the material conditions and means for committing the murder”, as stipulated in Article 80 of the Criminal Code.
 
- The imposition of the security measure of "Remand in custody" in absentia against citizen I.B., suspected of committing the criminal offense of " Providing for the material conditions and means for committing the murder”, as stipulated in Article 80 of the Criminal Code.
  
- The imposition of the security measure of "Remand in custody" in absentia against citizen I.F, suspected of committing the criminal offense of " Providing for the material conditions and means for committing the murder”, as stipulated in Article 80 of the Criminal Code. and 

- The imposition of the security measure of "Remand in custody" in absentia against citizen R.A., suspected of committing the criminal offense of " Providing for the material conditions and means for committing the murder”, as stipulated in Article 80 of the Criminal Code.
