“New jurors, positive critics on justice development”
“ New jurors, positive critics on justice development”
General Prosecutor, Mr. Adriatik Llalla conveys messages to students of Law Faculty in Tirana in the frame of the “100 Years of Laws and Doctrine” conference.
Honourable heads of Law Faculty,
Honourable professors and colleagues,
Honourable guests,
I thank you for the invitation and express my pleasure to return to the pedagogical staff of the faculty where I carried out my studies.
In the 100th anniversary of the Justice Day, Your faculty deserves a greater attention, given that excellent jurist generations, offering their maximal contribution to the strengthening of the Albanian state, have come out from your auditoriums.
Your faculty enjoys the presence of those youngsters, who will go on in the future with the continuous progress of our country towards integration in the United Europe.
Activities in celebration of the first century of the real Albanian juridical history are taking place in several institutions these days. This day is also a moment of reflection on the role that all of us should play together regarding consolidation of the rule of law in our country.
Jurists, judges, prosecutors, lawyers, but also everybody else aiming at contributing in the progress of Albania has the legal and moral obligation to put a stone in the building of justice. It is true that, despite achievements, problems exist and will always be present for as long as elements with illegal tendencies will challenge the rule of law and safety of citizens.
For this reason, I wanted to convey a message, first to the new generation of jurists, to look at the current system with a critical eye and offer new ideas for the reinforcement of the justice system.
General Prosecution has started to promote those new prosecutors, educated in the School of Magistrates and the advanced western institutions. Therefore, the way is open to any student truly wanting to go on forward.
I am presenting this priority of the prosecution in front of the lecturers’ staff, for this message to be conveyed as clear and complete as possible. I also believe and hope that students are able to immediately receive the message, since the Law Faculty has always been in the forefront of youngsters giving an impetus to the development of the country.
Thank you!
